India Saturday three fresh cases of swine flu reported in Hyderabad & New Delhi, which includes a woman and her four-and-a-half-year old daughter in the Andhra Pradesh capital with an overall confirmed cases of eight so far in India. On of the confirmed cases tested positive for influenza A (H1N1) include a 24-year-old brother of a techie who returned from US on May 31 with infection. Doctors and health officials confirmed this as the first indigenous case of swine flu broke out in India itself.
First case of human to human transmission

The first case of human-to-human transmission of the deadly virus of swine flu in India was from Hyderbad, which is raising the concerns of public. The human-to-human transmission took place from a man came back from United States on May 31, infected his younger brother who was living in Hyderabad. Both of them have tested positive for the disease. Similar case was reported in Karimnagar locality of Hyderabad, there a mother and son, who were sitting two rows behind the passenger from United States also reported symptoms of flu. While the child already tested positive, awaiting the results of the tests on mother.
